With over 30 years in entertainment as a solo artist and with various other bands, I have the ability to create a warm and happy atmosphere wherever I am. Whether you are relaxing and listening over a drink in a hotel lounge, or clapping and singing along at a concert, a wonderful evening of Scottish and Irish folk singing is almost guaranteed… You may even find yourself laughing at my impish and cheek filled humour…!!

For the last several years I have been entertaining for bus tour companies around the length and breadth of Scotland as well as multi-cultural audiences aboard the famous ‘Royal Scotsman’ train. I also frequently travel to Europe and do performances throughout Switzerland.

It’s great to have some fun with an audience wherever I am performing. I really try not to take myself too seriously and always maintain a high level of professionalism. I was brought up with Scottish, Irish and country music but my passion lay on the traditional side. I come from a musical family and most play a musical instrument. My brother Derek the bagpipes, Andy the guitar and double bass and my late brother Bryan the guitar and moothie… He also embraced the ‘country’ side more… His rendition of ‘Help me make it through the night’ was legendary… His son Bryan (my nephew) is now a heavy rock guitarist and singer with Edinburgh based band ‘Ramage inc’ so as you can tell music is in the blood.
